FÄRT (Flatpack Art/ F*** Art) is a hypothetical brand developed as a result of an imagined collaboration between IKEA & The Saatchi Gallery. Drawing on movements within art, such as Erwin Wurm’s One Minute Sculptures, Marcel Duchamp’s urinal and the idea of ‘ready mades’, as well as Sol LeWitt’s series of instructions for people to produce the artwork themselves, FÄRT encourages people to create sculptures utilising IKEA furniture products.
